You might think to yourself: “Why should we consider Laura as an asset to our company?”
Being ambitious, open minded, and self-motivated has gotten me far especially in my current studies in Haaga-Helia. I will have completed 173 ECTS in two academic years when the standard is approximately 120 ECTS. Having enrolled to an international program has given me multiple opportunities networking, deepening my understanding of other cultures, and expanding my global perspective especially in the field of business.
What I do
(and do well)
I initially took interest in logistics and supply chain management in my first marketing course called Customer Insight & Marketing.
From then on, I applied and enrolled to have SCM as a major in by bachelor of business administration studies. I also began properly introducing myself to the field by catching up on related news, joined Logy (Finnish Association of Purchasing and Logistics) as a student member, studying different theories in sustainability and logistics, and also attended my first ever conference.
Currently, I am solely focusing on my studies. This has lead me to the point that I have the opportunity to graduate on December of 2024. However, that is not my full plan, as I do not intend to rush myself to write my thesis. Graduating a year early would be a nice bonus for my great efforts I have made for my studies but not a must.
Keen topics in SCM are quality, data analytics, and procurement
Take a chance, and choose me! Learning and adapting quickly are two of my best qualities.
